Brief
The coffee and espresso experience at home is often broken, incomplete, and difficult to use. The goal is design to design a new product that brings the full coffee experience into the home in a simple way.
Understanding coffee and espresso
Espresso is a brewing method in which coffee is first finely ground to generate more surface area for better extraction. The coffee is then brewed under pressure, producing coffee that has a bolder flavor and more concentrated than traditional drip coffee.

Unique Design
Velcom unique design is enabled by the rethinking of how a espresso maker can be assembled and along with Velcom's aesthetic appearance results in a unique espresso maker.
Personized Experience
Every users experience with Velcom is personized to them, showing them their favorite drinks with all their preferences like temperature and coffee strength. Velcom uses the UserID camera to be able identify which user is using it currently, allowing everyone in the office or in the home to be able have only their favorites and recommendations displayed.
User Interface Prototype
This prototype is set to a user named Mark and you can brew an Americano espresso drink.
Ease of Use
Along with Velcom's Dial user interface, refilling and changing containers is a breeze. Velcom comes with Insulated milk container, which stored in the refrigerator when not in use. The coffee grounds container and drip tray can be easily removed with one hand as well.
